1. Thank you for your interest in becoming an Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk For Women team. We are no longer accepting team applications for the 17th annual event.

You can still participate in the Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, May 8th at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum by registering as a runner/walker today.

We will start processing team applications for the 18th annual EIF REVLON Run/Walk For Women to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in October 2010.

2. Recruit Team Members

Invite others to register for your team by publicizing your team’s involvement. All you need are 25 members or more! Team members can be anyone – neighbors, co-workers, friends and family members. Men, women and children are all welcome to participate!

Teams must be registered and activated by Friday, April 9th. Teams must have 25 registered participants by Friday, April 16th in order to qualify as an official team. We are unable to process any requests after this date.

3. Set Fundraising Goals

Establish a fundraising goal that your team can work towards collectively. Encourage your team members to set a personal fundraising goal as well: $500, $1,000, $5,000 or even more!

Look at what the EIF REVLON Run/Walk 2009 Top Teams were able to achieve:

  1. Disney VoluntEARS $98,554
  2. Toyota Motor Sales, USA Inc. $93,471
  3. Oakwood School $79,743
  4. Spirit of Santa Monica/Team Survivor $51,803
  5. Wells Fargo Foothill $44,747

Northrop Grumman was the largest team in 2009 with 554 team members.

4. TEAM CAPTAIN MANUAL

The 2010 Team Captain Manual will be posted online in early February 2010. Please check back at that time.

5.REQUEST TEAM MATERIALS

Get the word out about your team! Put up posters and display stands and give people informational brochures about the event.

  • Email materials@revlonrunwalk.com to request materials. Please put your Team Name and Number in the subject line of the email.
  • Please indicate the number of materials you wish to receive based on the following options: Brochures (please denote a quantity between 25 and 100); Posters (mailed in a package of 5, please limit poster requests to 1 package); Store Display Stands (1 or 2 stands).
  • Please request the minimum number of materials that you think you’ll be using, you can always order more if you need them.

7. RAISE FUNDS

Donation support the fight against women's cancers. Start asking friends, neighbors, family and co-workers to join in the fight and make a pledge. Also, be sure to check out the fundraising awards you can earn!

8. RUN/WALK ON MAY 8TH

Your team can be as creative as you want! Challenge your team members to raise a certain amount of money by holding raffles and offering prizes. Create t-shirts, hats or buttons with the 2010 logo to wear on the day of the event. But most of all enjoy coming together for a terrific event that is striving to raise millions of dollars for women's cancers research, treatment and support services.

We ask teams to remember that our event attracts many families and people of all ages. When designing your t-shirts and other gear, please be considerate of others — no expletives or other offensive language or images. If you have a specific question regarding appropriateness, please call our office.
